I have recently received my VS 2003 upgrade for my old 2002.

I am having problems installing the prerequistes modules, viz the MDAC 2.7 service pack 1. The system keeps reporting that the module was not installed correctly.

I know that I have been using MDAC 2.7 for my projects anyway. I then downloaded the service pack from the web-site and installed it - it installed successfully.

I then went back to the prerequistes disc and it will not install - and I cannot continue without the installation of this service pack.

Any of you had similar experiences and do any of you know where I could get answers.
