I created applications in MS Access and VB6 combination.

Now I want to create new application in VB.net and SQL Server (to get its power & security ) and for this I want to know :

1. If I install my application on one PC only then it requre mounting of my databaee on that machine or my application can access it directly with this concept (mounting and dismounting). The user is has no much knowlede of computers. They know only easy operations.

2. Again, for network mounting of database is required ?
