    DoEvents in MATLAB

    Has anyone used MATLAB? I'm using MATLAB 6.1 (going to be upgraded to 6.5 soon).

    Can anyone point me to a function that is equivalent to the DoEvents function in VB? All it is is a Play and a Stop button. When the user presses play, a loop starts that keeps a wave playing until the user presses Stop. But the user can't press the Stop button while the loop is running. The original thread can be found here. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.


    BTW - I'm not in any way integrating VB into MATLAB or vice-versa.
