I was recently given a task to evaluate and implement a project.

The project requires that I save Proof of Delivery Information (date a signature image) into a SQL server by accessing a secured website via XML-based API.

I can save any data and image in a SQL server using VB6 but this is more than VB6 I guess. Is there a script I can use to do this stuff? Can anyone point me to the right direction (Do I use VB.NET or ASP.NET)? I have no work experience with .NET although I did some VB.NET training but never used it.

Any inputs would be highly appreciated.
