I know I have an open ip to the internet, but the rest of my network is behind a Name address translation firewall or NAT (if i picked the right acronim). I wanted to attempt to write a program that my users could connect to my server and download software updates. But my question is, will it work from behind a firewall and how can i configure shttp or socks or any of that stuff? Or could there be another way?
