I've moseyed on over here from the link from VirtualDr, it looks like a great forum, I think I'll enjoy it here

I'm a strictly amateur, intermediate level VB programmer, and I've been happily using VB6 up until now. I've been given VS .NET as a present, and I'm finding it a very different animal. Clearly I need books, but I'm just overwhelmed by the sheer volume available on Amazon, and I could really do with some recommendations on which are good ones, and which to avoid please.
