Does anyone have or use Crystal Reports 9?

Is it true now that end users also need a license? That kind of defeats the purpose. I read something that there is no longer a viewer and all end users need a license to view / print crystal reports.

Please let me know..since this is a big decision by upper mgmt to purchase or not of this tool.
