Reset desktop background color

To reset the desktop background color, set the value in registry:
In XP it is HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Colors

But in windows9x, I can't find the item "Color" under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\,
How should I do?
