I'm not looking for beta testers or co-developers righ now (not yet anyway ) but I need input on the network convergence rules I made up. I'm gonna use this in my program and until I have it finalized I can't move on. Actually I can but it might not work and I'd have to rework the code from the socket level up to all called procedures which will be a lot by then (I made procedure trace so I can see what procedure's were called and it's growing fast as I progress with the program).
You don't have to go into the details with updating the array. I just want to know if every host would end up having the IP address of all other hosts, even though they did not connect directly. Just theoretical, I tried some simulations on paper I just want confirmation that it does converge. I might have missed some scenarios.
If you can spare me some time then PLEASE PLEASE look up my rules and tell me what you think. Thanks.
