Group Sorting
i have a group, which is grouped on an ID field, and these groups have names, and obviously the person viewing the report wants to see the groups sorted on the group Name, not the groupID (cuz they dont give a damn about an ID they know nothing about). so how do i GROUP BY an ID, but sort the groups based on the group NAME (a field in the same table as the ID field that is being grouped on)
thanks
p.s. when i go into group expert, it says 'select a field to group by and sort by' but i want a seperate field for each.
edit
ok so apparently i need to put in the sort records expert the Name field just under the automatic group sort field, but i have two groups and its the first group i need to sort, and it won't let me put the name field under it! it greys out the 'up' button to move it up the list. and if i just leave it at the bottom, it doesnt sort at all.
