Well, I hope someone can elighten me......
I am trying to develop an application within Visual Studio.NET (standard edition) using a SQL backend. I installed the MSDE package and am able to connect. The problem is that I want to use the functionality of having SQL meaning.....I want to create the database within the application. I am not able to do this for some reason. When I right click over the server (within the Server Explorer window), the Create New SQL Database option is grayed out. Is this b/c I have the standard edition and not the professional edition? What am I missing? How can I be able to use the SQL functionality (creating the database tables with relationships) inside the Visual Studio.NET application.
I hope this makes sense...... PLease Help
