    ASP.net VB.net ADO.net

    Should i just skip learning old ASP and jump right into ASP.net? Do all servers that support the old ASP also support ASP.net or does it require a special install aside from the .net framework?

    If i buy VB.net Pro does it come with the .net framework that i can distribute? Like if i develope an asp.net website and the host only has the Old ASP installed would i just send them this framework.exe and they install it on thier server?

    Also what are some Some really good begginner and advanced ASP.net and VB.net books that talk about DB programming with ADO.net?
