Hello

I was just wondering if someone could help me with hypothesis testing! I know how to get the Null and Alternate Hypothesis, and what the significance level represents! but I do not know how to use these to prove what you are trying to do! (e.g. work out whether someone is just talking rubbish or whether they are being truthful using hypothesis testing to work it out).

Can anyone help me?
