    why wont aim connect through proxy - solved

    I'm trying to connect to AIM through a proxy, but it's not working. I've filled out the socks4 thingy, the address, port and everything, but it still doesn't connect.

    I get a msgbox that says "AIM service can't be reached" if I leave the service info as the default. If I change it to the host computer (ie: 10.0.0.2) and the port to 6588, and try to sign on, it'll start connecting, but never actually connect.
