DEAR Sir/Madam

I am using access and VBA in the development of a database application for a group of about 4000 teachers at about 300 schools in our city.
I would want to design a dialog form with the surname and first name text boxes where I ca use the findfirst and findnext methods to retrieve the the information of each teacher. how best can I best can I do this using code and without having to use the custom find dialog in access.
