Windows doesn't think I'm an administrator ?
Arg this is so frustrating.
I originally had my WindowsXP Professional laptop only using our workgroup, instead of logging into a domain.
"Jamie Plenderleith", locally, was a member of the administrator's group.
On our original SBS4.5 (NTServer 4.0) system I was also an administrator.
Now that I've installed Windows 2000 Server, and my laptop is now logging onto the domain, I don't have administrative priviledges on my laptop.
I'm logging onto the domain as "Jamie", and there's a user on the server "Jamie Plenderleith", with display name "Jamie" if I remember correctly.
Anyway, I can log in no problems.
But the problem is, that even though I'm an administrator, I don't have administrative rights.
Another odd thing, when I browse to the server, it asks me a username and password when I try to access the server first.
What on earth is happening ?
