Using IIS 5.0 on Win 2000 Server and as part of the WEB solution I am developing, Virtual Directories need to be created so I can FTP files from other PCs.

So far I have no problem with a Virtual Directory which is pointing to my local drive but when creating Virtuals which point to other PCs, they are listed in Internet Services Manager, and if selected their contents are listed BUT the corresponding icon is an ERROR symbol.

My web solution can not pull any files from the remote PCs so I am a little stuck. Sounds like security to me but as IIS Manager is listing the contents of these directories I am even more confused.
