Hi,

Newbie here. I am switching devolpment tool for stability reasons (from a CASE tool called Windev) and I am looking at VB .net.

The catch is that both the JET and the MSDE engine if I understand well only support databases of less than 2 Gb and my project (to be distributed at fairly LOW cost) needs to include a fairly extensive database (about 3 to 10 Gb - at least one table more than 2 Gb).

Question : Which database solution on the market could give me the following (in order of importance) :

- Support for up to 10Gb database
- Good performance
- Accessible through ADO
- Low cost per installation
- Easy (meaning automatic and no maintenance) installation

I hope someone will be able able to point me toward the Saint Graal...
