Hello! What a terrific place this is! I will be here every day looking at all the posts <drools>.

Anyway....

I am trying to discover the means to call a dialog box(s) at installation to give the user the option of where to install the program, or where to place the DB(s) that goes with it....i fear that one of the DB's may end up residing on a server...in which case...i need to be able to retrieve the path and apply it to my code...

I have studied the packaging script that is created by the Package/Deploy wizard, and it seems logical to me that the answer lies in there....Or perhaps I should dictate the final resting places of the components?...errrr...

Any pointers, hints, instruction; I would be grateful.
