Disk Recovery Programs?
Does anybody know any good programs for recovering data off of damaged disks? (Y'know, floppy, Zip, etc...) ScanDisk just isn't good enough, and I heard that you can find better programs out there.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Ya, there are a handful of utilites out there, I needed it when my
partitions gained the super-power of becoming invisible to the OS.
I picked up Fix-It Utilities, which turned out to be a waste of money,
1. Because it turned out that it was a faulty Driver, not a HD problem,
and
2. Because the Utilities only recovcer like the first 50 files and I was looking at a 14GB drive.
BUT
it did find the 50 files, in no particular order.
AND
they do have a utility that works for unlimited files....
and it looks good, just not for my situation.
OnTrackTools
There are others out there too.

I had the same problem with Partitions. I installed Linux and then Windows bodged it, but I couldn't get my 10GB back. So I had to download a formatting tool from Western Digital. Now I have my 30GB back
