16bit programs on Win2000?
I just put Windows 2000 on my PC, and have discovered that the program my dad uses to manage household accounts will not run, or even install, because it is 16bit. My dad is a bit p*ssed off about this to say the least.
I've heard it's possible to run the programs using an emulator. Where could I get one from?

Try Windows Update for the Windows 2000 Compatibility Updates choice - that'll let you pick an older MS OS on a shortcut the an app, but I'm not sure if that'll help with 16bit apps at all.
And W2K does come with a 16bit subsystem.

Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.

Nah. The patch from Windows Update fixed it. I now get a little compatability tab on program and shortcut properties boxes, like in XP.
