Hi,
Hi i am trying to change the windows wallpaper/bacground using SystemParametersInfo API. Now there are two things i want to do but dont know how.
1. Strech the image to fit the screen.
2. Tile the image.
Can anyone please tell me how can i do any of the two.
Thanks in advance.

Changing Wallpaper
Thanks Matthew,
But none of the links really answers my questions. I actually know how to change the wall paper, but in some cases Bitmap choosen by the user is smaller then the screen size. So i want to give users the option to Strech the image to fit the screen size or tile the image.
You may wondering why i want to do this when i can do the same thing through windows property settings. The ans is at my UNI the network manager has disabled the option !!! So i worte my own using VB :-) !!!. I have finised most parts i just want to make it an exact copy of the windows "Display Properties Applet".
If any one can ans any of my questions please ans.
Thanks again.

Re: Changing Wallpaper
you could allways try changing the registery key so that it streatches the wallpaper. i dont know the key name though but i know it is in there somewhere.
If there is only one perfect person in the universe, does that make them imperfect?

Re: Changing Wallpaper
Dont worry dandono! I dont look at the dates either. I've replied to old threads loads of times before an all. Besides the chances are that no matter how old the thread is, the guy who started it probably still needs help.
