Making FAT32 partition
would making a FAT32 partition on my otherwise NTFS formatted drive help some games to run better?
e.g. a couple of my games will install and run okay, but when applying official patches to both, they come up with some crazy excuse about the file being the right date but the contents not matching. The games are completely unrelated BTW. And they both crap out with that error, which makes me think "hmmm..." Both patches work fine on a WinME machine which also makes me think "hmmm..."

not that anybody gave a blow obvisouly, but I decided to create the fat32 partition and install games on it
They now work better, so my advice if you're having trouble with games under Win2000/NTFS, then make a FAT32 for those games.
