    Dear all,

    I'm looking at doing some development for Mp3 players and stuff Anyone know of a way getting the bitrate of an mp3 via its file
    header? Each Mp3 has a header which indicates the bitrate, type of mpeg (layer2 or layer3), and mono or stereo etc..

    Ive got some code for an IRC client (mIRC) which gets the bitrate of the mp3. Anyone good in converting code from mIRC to VB5?

    I dont want to use ANY OCX's or any addon controls, just raw code
