    Rnaapp

    whenever i have a (dial up) connection and some minuntes after i closed the connection i have a process running which is called Rnaapp
    what does this do ?
    it seems to bug the winsock control in my vb6 program

    I'm not completely sure, but it runs whenever there is a modem connection.. if it is still running I would assume that you haven't disconnected properly.

    i had this problem a few times, as I use my modbile phone as a modem, if there is a problem with the network or the cable connecting it to the pc then it just drops out, and rnaapp is still running - if that happens I need to reboot before using the modem again.

    This happens to me sometimes. Use Ctrl-Alt-Delete to bring up the Task Manager. Kill it with End Task.

    If you do a Google Search for the programs in the Task List, you can get more information about most of them.

    Had this problem also, but somehow it cleared up by itself, although it might have been SP5
