I've just be told I need to use a calender control to store appointments in a database but can't find any information on how they work
Has anyone got any ideas of how they work or where I can get information

What version of vb are you running
vb6 comes with i's very own calender controls...have a look at the date picker.
If pre-vb6....have a look at greentree's control, not too expensive http://www.greentree.com
or even....
Have a search aroung http://www.planetsourcecode.com for a free download.

I have VB6 and had a look at the Calender control listed as an ActiveX component, is that the date picker , I meant to be able to get times on this calender as well
