Heard good things about Linksys...if you plan to get a lappy some time though, get a wired/wireless one. It's like $185.

I'll stick with the copper-wire based one for now methinks
Getting the broadband is expensive enough already:
£85 for modem thingy
£85 for that router/hub
£40 for x2 NICs
= £210/$300

£19.99 was the cheapest card i could find, it was at simply.co.uk A Belkin 10/100.
I could only find that router at amazon, none of my usual hardware places have it. All the others are twice the price
Don't forget we pay a lot more for everything than you.

I had a bad experience with Netgear tech support, and would never buy anything from them again (Bad NIC they didn't want to RMA).
Anyway, the Linksys routers work well for their purpose. Make sure you update to the latest firmware if you want it to be as secure as possible, and I have yet to get any answer from them concerning an SNMP vulnerability. Also, the web management capabilites seem to stop working if the device is left on for a long time (months) without power cycling, but the actual routing/NAT functions fine.

Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.
