Flash and installer
How would I use Flash as a splash screen for Visual Studio Installer? I have seen this done many times, but no one seems to have any answers.
I want a cool into to my installation and also allow the user to select from several apps to install.

Hmm
Are you sure they are Flash files, and not Director files?
Flash would require components to be installed on the users system.
I suspect that they use Macromedia Director movies to present the splash screen and from selections there call the correct Installer file or set the appropriate arguments for the installer file.

Not a flash expert but....
What they were doing was using a flash exe and running it from the autorun on a cd.
The user coud select what components to install such as MDAC etc. Then when the user clicked Install, it would launch the msi.
I am really not sure exaclty how it was done. I am just learning flash, that is why I placed this post.
