NewsPro Pass Encryption

ok, our site was sabotaged by a rival Counterstrike clan (i know it sounds corny), and he changed my Newspro password, now i still have my ftp password etc and i have access to the files but i dont wanna re-install newspro, so is their another way i can login, or gain access again?

sorry, i forgot to add, is their a file somewhere, where i can get my new password, and if its encrypted, does anyone know how to decrypt it

give me a few minutes and I may be able to help you. I just have to reinstall Newspro to see what type of encryption it uses.

If I read right, you can just delete the password.dat file and it should allow you to make a new admin password

i cant find any password.dat or password.*, any other suggestions
