How would one do this?
One is considering the ADSL option...how could one get 2 computers to use the same connection without both of them having to be on?
As I see it, I need
2 NICs
ADSL modem thingy
IP Router or hub or something else
Anyone have a similar setup who could advise?
Cheers

If you have an external DSL modem, get a router from D-Link or Linksys that has a built in 4 port hub. Then you just configure to use the router, and everything will be grand....
routers w/ built in hubs are around 75-100 dollars.

If you have a lappy, get a wireless/wired route, walking around with a laptop with always-on wireless broadband rocks
