Thread: Default Sound Using BEEP

    I have a VB 6.0 app that uses the BEEP statement for simple notification. Some of the users of the app do not have sound cards. The sound th BEEP statement sends through the PC's internal speaker is very faint. Is there a way to change this sound to a louder one? Can I use .wav files with the internal speaker? Other options?

    I have a solution, but it's VERY strange. You make a QBasic program that does it, then have the VB program access it. I'll post my entire solution on a different topic. If you have any other problems, email me or ask me on the forum.
