Wink Depends on other knowledge, languages etc

If want a job in vb and no commercial programming expierance, will probably help you get a starting position as a programmer of something. Employer's are looking for expierance rather than qualifications, unless they have a junior role available. We hired a guy who was over from Atlanta, who had done a vb course at college, he's doing well but needs commercial rules, accounting, etc explained to him. Will no doubt end up paying for a commercial course to get him over those problems.

When l started in Computing, had a degree in Commerce with a minor in Computing. Was hired more for the accounting knowledge than for the programming ability.

Sure a course is going to help you out, if you have no commercial expierance, but don't expect a senior position.
