    I know how to change resolutions on a monitor, but how do I make it change the Res back to its origional setting that the user had it at origionally.

    Before you change it, note what the current resolution is, and if needed, save it to a file or the registry, and then there you go! Use the saved settings for use of restoring the resolution.
