I have been trying to use the package and deployment wizard to send out my program. When the setup.exe is run after being packaged, it start the vbruntime tools setup, but when it gets to the last file (don't remember the name, its file 7 of 7) It always says that some system files were out of date, windows needs to be restarted. But it always says this! no matter how many times they run setup then restart. It will always give them this message.
If I remove the Runtime components from the wizard, the install finishes fine and the program works (provided they have vbruntime installed)
Any thoughts,

maybe your Packageing and Deployment kit is screwed up I suggest reinstalling it from the VB CD

Tried it, no luck. I did forget to mention that the package was created on Windows 2000 and both machines I tried it on were also running 2000.
