    Winamp

    Is there a way to give certain songs a higher probability of being played when shuffle is on?

    Nope, other than listing them multiple times. Winamp (at least 3) has a "shuffle depth" you can tweak with though, not sure what it does.

    That's what they all say...

    Winamp needs like a CD burning thing built in. That'd be cool

    There's probably a plugin that can do it, but Nero/Easy CD Creator/etc. will probably be better than what a plugin could offer anyway.

    Yep Nero might be a bit faster but the simplicity of burning right thru Winamp would be nice.

    Actually i just read an interesting bit in the latest MaxPC issue..

    PlexWriter 40x review

    Using the bundled basic version of Easy CD Creator 5, the PlexWriter burned 647MB to a CDR in exactly 4:00 minutes-- slower than the Liteon 32x at 3:39, and slower than the world's record for the fastest mile run by a human, held by Hicham El Guerrouj of Morocco at 3:43. However, paired with Nero 5.5.7.2, the PlexWriter wrotes the same data to a CDR in just 3:23 seconds-- faster than both the Lite-On and Mr. El Guerrouj.
    And yes I typed that, I'm a very fast typist

    you could make a plugin that does that, but I'd rather delete the items that i don't want to listen to.

    writing haskell makes your life easier:
    reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
