    Tony Blair will go over big in the land of Lester Maddox.

    For those uninitiated to Southern Politics (US), Lester Maddox
    was a white restaurant owner who used a baseball bat to
    attempt to convince blacks that integration of his restaurant was
    not a good idea.

    10 Years later, he was elected to two terms as Georgia's
    governor.....one election tactic was to pass out small baseball
    bats with his name on them as giveaways.

    You kinda had to be there.....besides, we've had worse. He
    actually turned out to be a decent governor. Improved the
    prisons significantly.
