    JDK1.1.7....where can i find it?

    Hi,
Can anyone let me know where I can download JDK1.1.7 from? I need to install Websphere 3.02 on windows NT, which requires JDK1.1.7. I have not been able to locate a site where I can download it from.

Any help will be really appreciated.

    Thanx a lot.

thanx Mrs Kensington, will check it out.

    I also found the site

    http://mickey.edvz.uni-linz.ac.at/Li...c/install.html

from where JDK1.1.7B can be downloaded. I'll decide between the 2.

    Thanx a lot.

    isn't java backwards compatible?

    RAMMY:
why does it need that version? i thought java was backward compatible so you could run it fine on 1.4.0.....

If you are programming in Java use www.NetBeans.org

If memory serves I think you can get the newest JDK and JREs to act as older versions with a command line argument, can't quite remember mind

    Any ideas?
