VB is not the language to do it in. Use Assembly or C++. I have the source code for UltraHLE (Nintendo 64 Emulator) which is written in C++. If you would like it, I can send it to you.

I just sent it to both of you.
I got it about 2 years ago from their webiste. This version is a little older than the current version but it will still teach you the basics of emulation.
Yes, you can use it with Visual C++ 6.0 and 5.0.
