Thread: VB6 installation - on Win98 shows error-unable to register msdasql.dll

    im installing VB6 on win98, but the installation writes an error-unable to register msdasql.dll
    please help??

    make sure your VB CD has no scratches or fingerprints. If it has fingerprints wipe them off, preferably with a wipe used to clean glasses, and if there is a scratch, use some turtle wax(for a car) and wipe it on until you can't see the wax anymore, that worked for me with my recovery CD....
    this may not be the problem... but its worth a try
