no, like I said that is way too much overhead too much memory, too much pen management ect. Anyone else got any suggestions??

you could blit a bitmap...
Raster drawing is a lot of management, it cannot be helped. Record the thing in a metafile...

humm I wonder is there a raster opp that would do something like that, was looking at the help for bendfunction, but it doesn't really have much in the way of information, any ideas anyone?
