    I want to host some forums

    Where's a good free space to host forums?

    Using vB Lite or Burning Board...something PHP based..

    why is everyone hosting forums? I only go to 2 forums this one, and the one at my school (I am an admin there ).

    why don't u host it off your own computer with iis? you seem to have a static ip.

    How do u know he has a static ip, dont u need to b a mod to see ip address?

    so its not coz cris is an op, its some kind of exploit on the site. This being the case, shouldt it be fixed before some script kiddy comes along and starts messing with the ip addresses. Im not too bother personally coz a)im behind a firewall and therefore almost unhackerble and b) my ip address is dynamic but im sure there are others here that dont particularly want their ip addresses given out!

    I know one guy who works for Doubleclick.
    They can cross-reference individuals from multiple sites.

    In fact they can say which site you've been at a particular time.
    And they can get your real house address from some sites that require you to give your house address.

    All these Info can be used to launch a dedicated marketing campaign. You know what...You visit a site and browse a product category and in few days you get some sales person talking about this product in phone.
