Hello. I am new to VB but I have some programming background in other languages.
I am trying to use an existing MS Access 2000 database to gather and manipulate data. However, I am having difficulty trying to figure out what the best way to access the information would be, either DAO or ADODC.
I have opened my database and recordset as a daoDB36 database so I can access the Access 2000 db version. I cannot seem to open all of the tables and queries in it.
I am using the DAO 3.6 Library as well as referencing the Jet 4.0 version. Please advise me on the best way to handle and manipulate the data. Thanks!

ADODB. No point in learning a dead standard (unless you have to maintain it)...
