Bitmap file are usually heavier in size...
So no use attaching them 'cos the size is limited to 100 KB or something.

On the subject, what about extending the .jpg allowance to .jpeg.

There's no difference is there? It's just a nuisance, esp. when you have extensions turned off...

Another reason for having them turned on Turning them off is silly because you lose a large proportion of the file information.

From an explorer window, Tools->Folder Options. Second tab, and turn off Hide File Extensions in the treeview.

Yep been doing it since Win95

I only turn em off when I'm renaming a bunch of MP3 files as it's a pain to type the .mp3 every single time...but rest assured it goes back on again when i'm done.

Jeth, you really gotta learn to fly from the hip matey, if you can't find one, make one up.

e.g -> Stupid seppos would default it to the stupid option, then make it impossible to fix without first sifting through piles of legal jargon, and then paying the dirty extortionists $25US for the privelege of having them fix their own **** up!

    See, mate - easy as.
