I'm trying to design a report based on the financial year eg 1/7/1999 to 30/06/1999 using records from Access database. The user will be prompt to enter a date eg 20/03/2000 and it will then pick up all items from 1/7/1999 to this date.
What is the best report designer to use to do this, VB report designer or Crystal reports. Is there a function that you can use to calculate this range.
Thanks in advance

Sorry to say (Again) the datareport in VB is crap.
I would use cyrstal reports I have found as someone who used to use access report for a lot of complicated reporting invb Crystal Reports is the only one I have found that has come close.
You can get the Report Designer Component from Seagate (Free) but you have to phone them up.
