    Cheap ($8) domain name registerars

    Does anyone know any? I'm thinking of registering eisecuregamingforums.com

    take a look at www.godaddy.com

    eh, just a suggestion, a shorter URL weould be better, because people can remember it easier

    I havent' registered a domain before but don't you have to pay for a server if you want to have a REAL site?! what's the use of DNS then? (maybe I'm confusing the terms here )

    Yeah, I think I'll use GoDaddy.

    I'm not running it off of mine, it's going to be dedicated, so I don't really care about the email forwarding and dynamic DNS.

    oh...and by the way...I'm thinking of starting my own design site. Anyone got any ideas for names?

    Yep!

    I know that, but I meant I have no use for Dynamic DNS, which is what filburt uses....and cheap little redirector to your local server.

    Well you dont always have to pay for a server if you have yor own dedicated ip, and then you can run your own server.
