These messages are becoming a plague.
Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and you just water down your vodka.
Take credit, not responsibility

That pre-supposes the existence of this creature you refer to as "God".
Anyway, you know how over-the-top-patriotic the americans are.
They run the planet, so why wouldn't god just bless them ?
The rest of us are ****ing useless and were only on the planet as breakfast for dinosaurs

Well um if we say god bless the EU, then god would be blessing the queen of england, and well they have a song about that 'n everything, so I wouldn't want to indulge them. So yeah we remove the british from the EU (which we should anyway), and then fire ahead with god blessing the rest of us

Let those Americans havetheir way of gaining confidence. I personally don't need a God to feel good or to feel confidence.
Trust in your own capabilities doesn't require a God to bless you.

Anyway my opinion

Wasn't their anthem "Rule Britannia" until they changed it? I'm not that familiar with Brittish history. They could always change it back. Or would that make them rule the world?
Anyway, I'll be the tolerant dutch here (ugh): Peace man...

British history is basically that they piss on smaller countries that can't defend themselves and call them their own....

Several languages used to compete for world domination. Due to a strang course of events, they speak English in the US. It could also easily have been German or French.

We're not arrogant in the UK....
And which smaller countries? Luxembourg? We are a tiny island that ruled 2/3 of the globe at the height of the British Empire, which was bigger than the Roman Empire.
And we gave most of them back. Now all we have are a few tiny islands here and there.
Now, aren't you sorry you didn't just keep on scrolling?

Yes, but the point I was making is that we didn't just pick on the smaller countries, not that we invaded or not.

Don't the British have a saying:
"God save the Queen" ?
Personally, I'd say that before "God bless the USA" {If she really needed saveing. I'll leave that determination up to jesus4u}
It IS a bit much for one to do a roundabout self-blessing via group inclusion.
However, Ultimately, isn't this nitpicking on countries eccentricities a bit trite?

I think it's nice to see all the differences in the people, and the way they convict the other countries and defending their own.

...I do - all the time in fact after I sneeze.
The liver is bad. It must be punished.
