Thread: Help! Data Error (Jet VBA File)

    Question

    When installing my application on my laptop, I get a message that says "Data Error Event Hit Error:The Jet VBA file failed to initialize when called. Try re-installing the application that return ed the error." I tried re-installing but got the same message. The application installs just fine on my desktop PC. Can someone please enlighten me?

    Your app setup may inadvertently be overwriting newer DAO DLLs that are installed on your laptop PC. Check out this page:
