C++/D
Dont know if anyone has heard of it, but Digital Mars has a free C++/ compiler availible. If I recall correctly, it is/was written by the guy who wrote the Symantec C++ compiler. In addition, they have an alpha D compiler (...) along with a D language spec. I have never used either compiler, but I thought some of you might be interested.

D? Last I heard the next overhaul of C/C++ was going to be C++0x or 0xC++ (one of the two), according to Bjarne Stroustrup that is.

Its apparently unofficial. I think it needs a new name. The same for that revision of C++. Is 0xC++ even a legal statement? =)

Or, if they mean 0*C++, that would be... 0...
