    Hi there,
    Suppose that I have installed MS Word on my web server. Is it possible to invoke it on the client machine. Note the client machine does not have MS Word.

    the client won't be able to directly manipulate the MSWord object model, but the server can...unless maybe you use DCOM, but I think the type libraries for word have to be registered on the client....
