    Hooking keyboard / Trapping keys

    How do you hook the keyboard input, or trap the keypresses? I don't want any program to recieve any of the keypresses but I want them to have focus? Possible?

    I'm doing this for an interpreter program that changes the keys pressed to other symbols in the other... How can I make this NOT sound like a virus??? Just trust me ITS NOT A VIRUS!!!

    You will not be able to take what the keyboard have to an other thing, but you can make a keylogger to know what key is pressed that all :\
